Cremophor A 25 emulsifier is the 25 mole ethoxylate of a blend of cetyl and stearyl alcohols.
Cremophor A 25 is a nonionic emulsifier, manufactured by reacting higher saturated fatty alcohols with ethylene oxide.
Cremophor A 25 is supplied in the form of free-flowing, non-dusting microbeads.
The Cremophor A grades are oil-in-water emulsifiers and are used for the production of ointments, creams, liquid emulsions, gels and other cosmetic preparations. Extremely good results are obtained with mixtures of the various Cremophor A grades.
