COSMEFA 40
Echium (Echium lycopsis) is an annual plant that flourishes along paths and fields in the Netherlands. The apricot tree (Prunus armeniaca) is a small to medium-sized tree, cultivated in Italy, China and Iran. Cosmefa 40 is a mix of 80% apricot kernel oil and 20% echium seed oil, extracted by mechanical pressing and refined, stabilized by 300 ppm of ascorbyl palmitate.
The cosmefa 40 formula was specially designed to combine the qualities of apricot kernel oil and echium seed oil. The anti-inflammatory and anti-wrinkle properties of stearidonic acid in echium oil are added to the cosmetic properties (nutrition, moisturisation and vitality) and the great stability of apricot kernel oil.
