MULTIMOIST CLR

MultiMoist CLR, a multi-potent natural based moisturizer, helps to easily develop moisturizing formulations required by modern consumers. It contains hygroscopic molecules originating from short chain fructooligosaccharides (scFOS) and the root of Beta vulgaris. scFOS can all be naturally found in numerous fruit and vegetables. When applied onto the skin these molecules immediately raise the hydration level in the SC, making the skin smoother and more supple, and ensuring a healthy appearance.
Using different tools like Moisture Map, Moisture Accumulation Test (MAT), Squametry and Corneometry, the superior performance of MultiMoist CLR has been proven in vivo.

Furthermore it has been demonstrated that MultiMoist CLR is capable of stimulating the expression of the Vitamin D Receptor (VDR). As more and more moisturizing day care concepts are formulated with sunscreens, contribution to unwanted Vitamin D deficiency is becoming an issue, especially in shorter daylight hours. Stimulating the expression of VDR therefore can be strategy to counteract this unwanted phenomenon.
On the other hand, an increase in expression of the VDR leads to an improvement of epidermal differentiation, which strengthens the barrier function and therefore leads to more moisturized skin.
