CUTIBIOME CLR

CutiBiome CLR was developed to address the paradoxical behavior of certain species of skin microbiota, implicated in the loss of skin health, for instance Cutibacterium acnes. C. acnes is a commensal species, important for skin health. Certain genetic variants (strains) of C. acnes play an important negative role for skin, though. CutiBiome CLR can abolish the film forming activity and significantly inhibits the growth of virulent strains of C. acnes. Sebum, comedones, pustules and pimples are reduced dramatically. Other clinical studies showed potent reduction of dandruff.

CutiBiome CLR is intended for usage in both skin and scalp care formulations. Preferred applications are usage in formulations for oily or mixed skin with a poor complexion, impure or partly inflamed skin (incl. acne skin). It has also shown to have a potent regulating effect on elevated sebum production. CutiBiome CLR can easily be incorporated in emulsified skin and hair/scalp care preparations, lotions or serums.
