Created in 2016, SurfactGreen has developed in partnership with the Chemistry School in Rennes (ENSCR) a unique patented process leveraging the principles of Green Chemistry to deliver 100% biosourced cationic surfactants. This process uses natural raw materials without competition with human food chain: Glycine Betaine from Beetroot and fatty alcohol from rapeseed. This unique surfactant delivers similar performance vs synthetic alternatives with a much better eco-friendly profile: low ecotoxicity and readily biodegradable.
