SensomerTM Tara polymer is natural multifunctional texturizing biopolymer with high thickening capability, excellent sensory, and synergistic behavior with other natural and synthetic thickeners, such as for example: xanthan gum, PemuPurTM START polymer, Kelco-CareTM diutan gum and CarbopolTM polymers. Suitable for translucent to opaque formulas.
SensomerTM Tara polymer is versatile and suitable for a wide variety of skin care and hair care applications.
In skin care emulsions, SensomerTM Tara polymer shows a noticeable synergistic effect on both viscosity and yield value with Kelco-CareTM diutan gum. In addition, SensomerTM Tara polymer provides creamy texture and reduces stringiness when used at > 50% of the total thickener concentration.
In hair care applications, it provides styling benefits bringing a natural look as well as conditioning sensory in both hair care and hair color applications. In addition, it also shows anti-pollution properties by providing a shielding effect and preventing the adhesion of particles to the fiber. It is suitable for conditioners, leave-on treatments, styling, and color care applications.
It is obtained by a 100% mechanical process undertaken on the Tara seed endosperm. COSMOS approved, Vegan suitable, readably biodegradable according to OECD 301F, and NOC 100% according to ISO16128. It can be considered microbiome friendly.
